Oh Sephora, how do you do it. I walk in with the intention of just picking up a $5 pack of blotting sheets, and I walk out $100 poorer wondering what just happened and how did this tiny black bag of amazingness end up in my hand. One of the items in this bag was the Stila One Step Correct, which I'm pretty happy about.
Let me start by saying I'm probably one of the most picky people ever when it comes to face primers. They're either too greasy feeling, too slick, or I end up with little rubber eraser looking marks all over my face. When I first saw the bottle I wanted it just because it looks so cool with the helix of colors, but the nice man at Sephora demo'd it for me and I knew I had to have it.
One Step Correct is like a four-in-one kind of deal. It claims to color correct, brighten, prime, and nourish the skin all at one, which is a bonus for me because I was just looking for a plain ol' primer and ended up with much more. When you pump it out of the bottle it looks like a little marshmallow blob you'd find in a box of Lucky Charms. One pump is plenty for the entire face. It blends and absorbs fairly quickly, and I really think it does take the edge off any redness, and gives a softer look to the face. I've used a few different types of foundations over it, including powder, cream to powder, and liquid and it's performed really well each time. My pores do look smaller, however still visible, and it's definitely improved they staying power of my makeup.
One Step Correct can be found in Sephora stores and online at Sephora.com for $36.00

Eep! First post of my blogging life.
My first post. Just a blogging baby. How cute. Well, I've made quite a few beauty purchases this past week, so no better time to start than now! Hopefully I'll be able to make my posts more interesting as I learn about this strange new world of blogging. I'm always open to comments and suggestions!
